PhysioNet is seeking contributions of data sets that can be made
freely available in PhysioBank. We welcome contributions of digitized
and anonymized (deidentified) physiologic signals and time series of
all types. If you have a data set that may be suitable, please review
PhysioNet's guidelines for contributors

us.
From time to time, we receive requests for physiologic data of types
that are not well represented in PhysioBank, and we have often been
able to locate suitable data sets. Among the data sets sought are:
- ECGs with raw E-A-S-I signals

The EASI lead configuration was described in:
Dower GE, Yakush A, Nazzal SB, Jutzy RV, Ruiz CE.
Deriving the 12-lead electrocardiogram from four (EASI) electrodes. J Electrocardiol.

We are seeking untransformed recordings made using this
lead configuration.
- EEGs from patients with tinnitus

For a study on detection of tinnitus, a student seeks EEG recordings from
individuals with tinnitus and from healthy controls.
- Electromyograms (EMG)
- See

about annual awards for the most significant contributions.
- EMGs of wrist movements

- To support work on EMG-based control of prosthetic hands, a student seeks
surface EMG signals of wrist movements, including wrist extension, wrist
flexion, hand open, and hand close.
- Functional near infrared signals (fNIRs) from the brain

- Seeking fNIRs recorded from the prefrontal cortex of the brain in
different mental workload levels, using a 16-channel continuous wave (CW)
fNIRs system.
- Joint kinematic data in gait

- Pediatric ECG and other signals
- Limited examples are included in a few PhysioBank databases.
- Phonocardiographic signals
- Uncompressed recordings preferred.
- Signals associated with images
- Suitable data sets might include data from cell culture
experiments and other in vitro studies in which image data
complement or provide support for interpretation of signals, as well
as in vivo data such as the
PhysioNet/Computers in Cardiology 2007
data set (which included cardiac MR images and body surface
potential maps).
